I love getting the opportunity to get to know our clients better, which
allows me to bring their unique story to life on printed paper that
lasts for generations.

I love telling a story. It is so fun to take a series of photos, or a
series of special moments, and to display them in a way that allows our
clients to relive the memories.

There is so much personality that comes through. Hearing the nuances
behind the scenes, and what memories really matter helps bring their
project to life.

When they've seen their first draft of the design process and they are
blown away with their album. It brings a smile to my face to know they
are glad they invested in a designer helping them with their album.

FAQ
How does Design Services work?
Once you’ve purchased Design Services ($99 Design Fee + $100 album
deposit), an Account Manager will reach out to gather information
about your album vision and pair you with a designer. We will also
recommend the best number of photos to upload based on the number of
pages in your album. Please note that the max total of images is 200
for an album with max page count of 90 pages. Photo libraries larger
than our standard gallery size of 200 images can be curated for an
additional fee.
Once your photos are uploaded, your designer will reach out via email with the first draft of your project to review within 5 business days. You'll use a proofing tool to communicate any changes needed to your designer during the two rounds of revisions included (additional revisions are $50 each). Depending on the frequency of feedback and number of design revisions, it can take 2–3 weeks to complete the design.
Once the design is complete and confirmed by you, the album will be placed in your cart with the book deposit applied, ready for you to purchase. You will also have access to the final designed album in your account projects.

How many photos can I upload? How many images will be used in the final design?
We design
Signature Layflat,
Wedding Layflat, and
Layflat photo albums
with a page range of 30–90 pages. Here’s an idea of the images
you’ll be asked to upload and the estimated total used for each page
count:
Have more than 200 images? We can help you narrow those down to the best of the bunch for your album with our Photo Curation Service.
For Guest Book designs, we recommend fewer photos to allow extra space for handwritten notes at the event.

What options do I have to customize my album or guest book?
Explore sizes, fabric colors, and foil options, and foil stamping
designs for our different layflat options. Currently Design Services
can design these album types:

What if I purchase and then change my mind?
Should you choose to cancel your Design Services project, the $100
deposit will be converted to an Artifact Uprising gift card. We can
refund the design fee so long as no design work has begun. Read our

How do promotions, gift cards, and store credit work with Design Services?
Specific Design Services promotions may be available from time to
time or through partnerships, and may not be combined with other
offers. Gift cards, Wedding Albums Collections credit, and Zola
credits can be applied to the final cost of the album upon checkout
with the final design. Sitewide sales and promotions may not be
applied to the Design Service fee or shipping costs, but can be
applied toward the printing costs of your album. Read our full

What if I want you to design multiple albums or order multiple copies?
To have multiple unique albums designed within one order, we offer
additional Design fees at $50 per additional album.
If you want to use Design Services in combination with a Wedding Albums Collection, please mention this when working with your Account Manager.

What file specifications do you recommend for my photos?
Images must be in the sRGB color space. Images must be less than
25MB, although we recommend having them be 4–7MB for easy upload.
Images will print best when in the range of 150–300 DPI. For further
